AO / 青
Post-rock music, noise, poetry and the visual arts – the group AO/青 consists of four musicians: Hsin-Yun Tsai (typewriter), Frédéric Desmesure (guitar), Eric Heim (keyboard) and Nori Kajio (taiko).
Performance title: KAOIRO 顔色 means facial expression. The songs are first written in different colours in different languages: red, orange, blue, green, yellow; then the whole is compressed into black and white to symbolically produce contradictions between the earth’s natural sources and social issues.
